Relationship with TVR's !!!

Replaced LCD last night, fixed dash back into car, you need to be a contortionist to work on Tiv's. Switch on ................LCD exactly the same. Kick cat, kick quad, kick any inanimate object within striking distance. Stomp around house, contemplate chopping for Porker.

Quick search on PH forums and there's a thread that mentions similar issues but in a Tusc. Dealer disconnects ribbon cable at ECU in drivers footwell, leaves for a couple of minutes and fixes problem. No harm trying, did as told and..........it worked?

For how long I don't know but brightness has returned.

Really difficult to describe - the entire LCD panel appears backlit. When brightness goes the characters displayed are dull green, you can read info at certain angles. When display works correctly the characters are bright green, vivid and you can read at any angle.

Its a mystery!!

ours has been like that for about a year - comes and goes from time to time, just leave it, then the next week its back !
