Nurburgring Virgin please help

Ok me and 3 mates are going to go to the ring for 2 reasons.
1 to get away from the wifes and girlfreinds for a couple of days!
2 just for the experience.
Neither drivers have done much track driving before so won't be breaking any records!
The 2 cars are a brand new M3! and my old 2000 C2.
I'm after some advise on travel and were to stay and the ring!
We would want to set off on the friday return Sunday.
Thanks for any help.

For our last 2 'Ring visits we've used the Kallenborner Hotel as listed on Ben Lovejoys' site. Good English spoken (if you are useless at languages - I am!), sensible prices, well recommended. It's a 20 ish minute drive from the 'Ring so if you are lazy it may not suit you. Alex, the proprietor, also has brand new lock up garages available, as well as the hotel car-park. We were there early this month and in the first five minutes of spectating saw a 996GT3 spin and hit a concrete bridge doing fairly major damage... I looked at my wife and mumbled something about trying not to do the same in our BMW. We didn't crash it and had a wonderful couple of days there.
PM me if you need any more hotel info etc.

Chris,
I stayed at the Centre Parcs nearby which was excellent value for money. It's about a 20 minute drive to the 'Ring and as there was 6 of us we only paid about £50 each for a 6 berth chalet. Facilities are reasonable as well and they always seems to have room. You have the use of restaurants, bars and all the other Centre Parc delights if the 'Ring gets too much!
