HPI Checks

I was in the final stages of selling my Sport. The prospective buyer HPI checked the Reg.

Then a strange situation arose. My car shares the same VIN number as:

Schmitz Cargo Bull Triaxle Trailer
Anderson Stratos CNC router
ERF EC623 Sleeper Cab

Unfortunately the ERF is on the security register.

I talked with HPI they tell me that I can only lift the security warning by talking to Barclays Asset Finance as they have an issue with ERF.
The problem seems to be the short Chassis number / VIN

Has anyone experienced this problem?
