Short notice but some of you local lot to Lancs (if any) may be interested in this....
Sunday 31st August
will be an exceptional day. For the first time ever, in the beautiful grounds of Wyreside Hall, this is to be a feast of automobile history on display. An unforgettable day for enthusiasts and families alike.
PRIZES
Concours d'Elegance, open to ALL MAKES AND AGES OF CARS to win the prestigious Wyreside Hall Cup.
Many more prizes including Best car in each marque (Subject to entries).
Most appealing car of the day.
Best Ladies costume to compliment period of the car and furthest travelled competitor.
Displays
On the day there will be a display of classic Grand Prix cars, classic cars and motorcycles.
A presentation of the latest new cars from local dealerships.
Quad bike tuition and Hog Roast.
A Children's play area will be open throughout the day including:
Bouncy Castle
Face Painting
Punch & Judy Show
Magic Show
and more.
Admission on the day is:
£10 Per adult, Children FREE (it doesn't mention to what age).
General admission is from 12 noon.
There will be a parade at 2:00pm and they plan to allow as many cars as possible to join in, although they will give preference to those cars who also have a "Lady in costume"
If you are interested in entering any of your cars, there are limited places if you turn up on the day, but it would help the organisers if you could let then know in advance of numbers. (Tell them you heard about the event through the PT Cruiser club please as he's sent me all the bumff)
