Anyone on here?

This rather tasty beast turned up at Nelson's Diner (just outside Newbury) yesterday lunchtime as we were having a Mustang meet.

Gorgeous:

Gratuitous shot of a few of our Fords. Is that allowed? biggrin

don't recognise that from any meets I've ever attended or even from any photos I've seen posted. Obviously the owners been busy with the spray paint changing all those trim pieces and the wheels. I do like the look of it though - better than just a flat red.

If someone came on here and described what they were going to do to a red 'Ro then I think the consensus would be that it "sounds" awful - but there's something strangely good about how that one has turned out.

Wonder if it would work the "other way round"?!?! Well, here's the result!! biggrin

The car was on the "L8ter M8" cruise several years ago and I've seen it in the workshop at Picador... no idea if it's changed hands since the cruise.

ETA: the car the OP posted, not the putrid onewink

saw a guy getting interviewed on the news down near Plymouth re petrol shortages and could swear it was an old black mustang he was driving, like the one in the picture above. Just caught a glimpse as it pulled in to the service station. Given the choice of the 3 I'd take the old one - just such a good looking car in comparison to the newer models.
