Seat back broken
Discussion
The plastic on my drivers seat back was broken at the bottom where it screwed into the seat itself and I didn't want to pay the £100 for a new one so set about making my own work around...
Found a thin aluminium strip in the shed about 18" wide by 3" high. Simply cut it down to the width of the seat and drilled holes to line up with the existing holes, worked a treat! All part of being a TVR owner IMO

I also had this problem - did you stick the bar outside the cover so its visible?Found a thin aluminium strip in the shed about 18" wide by 3" high. Simply cut it down to the width of the seat and drilled holes to line up with the existing holes, worked a treat! All part of being a TVR owner IMO
I reinforced the inside but not sure if it will last forever.
I have a problem that my rear covers stick out loads at teh top - attempted to heat mould it into position but it seems like they are just the wrong shape.
Trying to avoid £200 to replace them - also I like the leather 'look' over the silver plastic.
Yep I just screwed it across the top of the plastic back to hold the whole of the bottom in place. I then attached a fire extinguisher to it and I think it looked pretty cool whilst fixing the seat problem.
Was a great piece of engineering, just I shame the car's dead now
Will do the same if I have the problem on my next Tusc
