Hi,
Should you see the same maximum boost in every gear?
My MK4 Golf GTi Turbo peaks at 18psi in 5th, about 16psi in 3rd and 4th and maybe between 13psi and 15psi in 1st and 2nd. My main concern is that I don't see the same boost in every gear and I just wanted to see if this seems right or not
I'm also having problems with holding boost. After having my actuator adjusted , I've been told it's more than likely a turbo problem. Could it be related to this?
I've even considered going back to the N75F over the N75J and H i've tried because a few people have said they've had similar problems holding boost on these other variants. I just can't see why i'm not able to produce the same boost in all gears and get it to hold.
