600 mile Exige report....

Well it's been a funny old month. Car is back at the dealers getting a sqeaky dash fixed, I'm stuck on a North Sea oil platform reading all the posts on PH and SELOC, and I'm getting the urge to go for a blat. 
600 miles in and I'm starting to get the measure of this little car (but only starting). Can't give it the full beans yet....well not much anyway. And there's that little hint that there is more to come. Still can't get over the attention either - mainly good natured, some humorous e.g. "why didn't you buy 2, then you could have one for each foot!!". I made the mistake of taking it down to the Indian to pick up a curry. When I came out a crowd had gathered and I proceeded to make an arse of myself getting in.
It's not a spectator sport is it!!
It's strange how in the RS4 I looked upon tight corners as a nuisance and something that had to be endured until the road opened out and I could go supersonic again. Now it's the opposite. It's almost like you want to get off the straights and take your persuer to "a place where they don't want to be". A place where the Lotus is King. You can almost sense the guy behind thinking 'oh blast' (or words to that effect. /cough)

Pleased to hear your loving it! I have had mine now about 3 weeks and love it more and more everytime i drive it. The attention is quite scary sometimes. Its such a starnge car round bends, you find your arse twitching because you think you have entered the bend far too quick and then realise that your actually not even close to the limits of the car.. brilliant. Saw your car at F1 few weeks ago looked very nice!

Yep cornering is where the fun is - only thing is I'll openly admit that the car outperforms my driving/nerves - every corner I've done at speed leaves me thinking 'that was easy, next time I'll go faster'

If the weathers okay, you up for it? Might need a trip down redcar way to roadhogs place, could make it a run if you like ?
