Body Off and is there a chassis num on Chassis!

Well with the help of a couple of friends we managed to remove the body of my 350i (First production Conv 350i) so I can restore the chassis!
It certainly was a p_ _ of a job!
The most interesting thing was the modifications made to the chassis by the factory. It started life as a 280i and was adapted during the build! I will do a detailed descrption later or an article for "Sprint"
Now I had a look to see if there is actually a Chassis num on the Chassis but could not see it! Has any body an idea were or if there is one!

Yes, there should be a chassis number stamped on a slanted piece of metal in the engine bay approximately above the top shock absorber mount. At least, that's where it is on both of my 280is.
