After a couple of months of advertising, the Chimaera has left me to go onto pastures new - sold to a nice chap in Blackburn over the weekend, who's now wearing a smile as wide as the bonnet! It's a funny thing, you make the decision to sell, and when you actually sell her, you don't want to see her go... Odd.

Still, it was great while it lasted - 2 years of smiles and fun and I'll always remember it for all the right reasons.

So farewell to the TVR group - and thanks for all the help I got when I needed it!

No idea what I'll get next, I'm getting married on Friday, so off on honeymoon for a while, so will worry about it when I get back. It'll have to be a family style wagon of some description, perhaps an S4 estate or the like...? Or maybe a nice MPV.... doubt it though!

What would you have? £17k max...

Jaguar XJR V8. Unbelievable acceleration/speed for a large exec saloon and every button and bell you could wish for. Go to Jag forum and look at buying advice. Cheaper to run than a tiv (I had three and never paid more than £350 for servicing through an independant). Despite what is rumoured, they are not an old mans car and they are definitely head turners. Sorted!

Haha - love the suggestions! Sensible as ever... Not sure I'll get away with a Cerbera though?
