Removing T350 bonnet

Whats the easiest way to remove the bonnet from a T350 ? I want to get in there and do a bit of cleaning ! There is a choice of either the single nut at the end of each of the 2 off hinge plates or the 2 off allen bolts (4 in total) that bolt into each side of the bonnet itself. I suppose either way will work looking at it i just wondered if one way was easier/less likely to catch bodywork etc than the other method. Also anyone know how to remove the little support strut....do you have to unscrew and remove the slider plate ?

Was advised early on to use the 4 Allen bolts, for ease/least risk to paintwork, & yes just remove 2 screws on slider plate. I

Ideally find a friend to take one side when remove last bolt each side, and put a cloth along each front edge/side of bonnet to protect it from scrapes. The bolts & screws benefit from a little grease when replacing

Did you remove the bonnet? How easy was it? Was it easy enough to line up again when you put it back on?

no i havent had a chance to do it yet unfortunately. Something else always seems to crop up...usually the kids ! When i get a chance i will have a go and report how i get on

its a piece of cake to take the 4 bolts out and refit/align, you'll need a hand from someone to help lift if off/on probably.
