The fact that, on the Cerbera, the oil filter take off plate is held to the chassis rail by an exhaust clamp, shows that they used anything to solve a problem.

Nothing wrong with cable ties holding the car together 
not sure, but it's always been there! (probably an expensive optional extra!)
