Any experience of Diesel additives?

To be fair, my E60 530d gives me 36 - 37 mpg normally & up to 42 on a run but with the price & availability of diesel going nuts at the moment I was wondering about using an additive to give it a clean and try & get that bit more out of the tank.

I'm open to recommendation of products to try (or avoid at all costs).

I visit www.petrolprices.com alot these days to find the best price I can & they have a link to a product called BG 244.

Any experience of using it?
