humor me here guys.

if i was to change the exige s for an elise s, take the change and spend on performance parts (the zige is runnin a larini se and ap,s) would i be mad?

reasons;

if crashed on a track day, less money lost due to removable parts

maybe enough money to buy a cheap camper van and trailor (serious stiffy for a t4 vw at the mo)

no money on insurance road tax etc etc etc etc

would have to deal with lotus on warranty issues, just my friendly, prompt, inexpensive and does a better job mechanic friend

REASONS NOT TO

its an exige s

i might do some tourin in the not to distant future

loss of money in trading

........am i mad?

If you're tight... spend 30 quid joining LOT.... end of Volvos on TDs, no more problems.

Keep the Exige or sell it and get an S1... doesn't matter you'll have the same amount of fun!

The only Lotus Boggy has crashed (so far) is an S1. Clearly the least forgiving, most raw expression of the car is too much for his fair hands. That's why he bought a nice benign, low-powered 111R. When he first went out in a Honda'd Elise he was blown away. With fear. The next week he promptly chopped in his 111R for... another 111R. The fear of trackday crashes led him not into more driver training, oh no, but into the purchase of an even more expensive never-to-be-tracked, road-spec trackday car. Fast in a straight line with nice safe ABS to save him, and traction control to avoid another "little mishap".

Leave the proper cars to the big boys mate tongue out

Have a nice holiday you cheeky sod. See if you can manage one day without considering chopping in a perfectly good car for another that you won't use on track hehe
