Body Code R2758 - what colour?

Hi folks, my TVR Cerbera 4.5 is body coded R2758, where do I find the colour code of my car?

The body code is usually the colour code but that colour doesn't appear in the colour list I have.
What is the colour of your car blue, red etc?

Are there other codes on the panel under the bonnet or in your owners manual?

Colour in the V5 document is described as maroon, the TVR-order form from 1998 says chianti starmist but I am not sure that the ordered colour is the one which was put on the car. It is indeed a very dark red changing to darkest brown, depending on the sun. The logbook is empty, no other hints were found under the bonnet.

If that code isn't right it might be a good idea to take the car to a good paintshop locally and see if they can match the colour.

thanks V8 grf, but the link doesn't work for me as I am *only* organised in the German TVR club. I have to look elsewhere if my cars colour does fit the "chianti"-scheme.

r2758 is indeed starmist chianti and p422-4yj8b is the ici reference for this colour. hope this helps.
