I'm looking for some insurance quotes, but I can't remember the make/model of the alam and immobiliser on my Chim (it's a 99W 450). Anyone know the standard make/model fitted by TVR?

I have a "Meta M99T alarm with microwave" OE fit on 2000 Chim, probably the same as yours?

I assume these alarms work like every other on the market (i.e they have to have a sensor to spread the microwave’s around the interior of the car) – so where is/are the sensor’s…?

I’ve had the car 4 years but have never seen anywhere for the alarm to sense the internal movement, but I know it works, as putting my hand in with the roof off, sets the alarm off…

Been there, done that far too many times. Just about used to it now.

Microwave sensor should be under the centre console.
