My 4.3 K plate chim for the last few times ive used it, seems to have a problem when cold.

I find it very hard to select gears for the first 3 or 4 gear changes, then it seems ok.

the pedal does seem to also be travelling further at all times with little resistance, and seems all the clutch bite is at the the last couple of inches of pedal movement.

am i making sense?

anyone have any ideas please?

Sounds like air in the system, so either a problem with master or slave cylinders? Master is the most common to be faulty imo.

Access to the master is via the round hatch on the o/s wing in the engine bay. But worth sticking your head into the drivers footwell and looking for any fluid leaking near the clutch pedal as that would indicate a leaking ring or seal.
