Well there's the two bars going front top to bottom of the gap, so you have to cut out part of the seal to allow for that, then there's the small matter of the fibreglass apparently being thicker than it should at the sides, so I have to widen the slot to make the seal fit over, plus the top edge between the bars doesn't have a 'tongue' as such, so I'll have to cut a 90 degree section out of the rubber and glue it in place, carefully...
It won't be ready for saturday, so will be turning up sans grill.
