Have currently got some aftermarket 16" wheels fitted to my recently aquired Griff...... look very nice in a sp12 kind of style, and are very mint in condition, the trouble is they are a poor fit, both are 7j in width running 225/45/16 so2 Bridgstone on the front, and 245/45/16 so3 Bridgstone on the rear...... rear rim is too narrow for the tyre fitted, for a start, and the offsets are all wrong as spacers are fitted in order to get them anywhere near the right position, but then the available bolt threads are reduced..... tyres are almost brand new,and id rather keep to the 16" size all round,as im not really wanting to fit 17" wheels and above to the car,16" siut the car in my eyes at least and retain a little ride comfort that can be lost fitting bigger wheels with reduced profile tyres..... so what are my options for correctly fitting 16" alloys for a Griff?.... Estorils rear's fitted al round is an option, but do they come up that often? always front sets knocking about as i guess there are others out there in the same position as me,rears tend not to be offered that often it seems to me....what aftermarket alloys are aviable in 16" size that fit correctly without spacers?,supose a hub conversion then some spiders is another option, but added expence for the hubs and discs needed...... any pointers?

Proper ones would be 15" front and 16" rear,as i said i want 16"'s all round and the rears are sought after for the same reason that i would want them, fronts are prety cheap and readily available ,think finding 4 rear wheels mightnot be that easy

Well if your willing to fork out quite a bit of cash sportmotive i think it is do a 5stud conversion for 16 inch Tvr spiders. i think team dynamics would do their version of the sp 12s in a 16 inch if you enquired too. Shame about the wheels you have fitted they look really nice are you sure they are not okay , i think there is quite a lot of peeps with alloys that are spaced out and have lock stops etc , is there nowhere you can take them to get professionally checked out . nice looking Griff as well by the way . regards Tom.

I didn fit these wheels, they were on the car when i purchased it.... i agree they do look good and are indeed mint in condition, just the fact they are not quite right bugs me...... wonder how much the 5 stud hub conversion is as i do like the spiders, best looking tvr wheel to my mind.....
