Will this machine run Company of Heroes

For a mate at work who is upgrading his pc for his Brother.

Current spec :

Vista Home Premium

Core 2 4300 1.8Ghz
1Gb Ram

He's considering buying a new PSU and an 8800GT 512 because his Bro is hooked on Company of Heroes and the machine has poor standard video.

The question is will the above machine run Company of Heroes with an 8800 ? A memory upgrade is also on the cards.

Anyone with a similar spec and experience of COH your imput would be appreciated.

i run it on this, an old 2.8 pentium 4 with 1gig ram and a 7800 geforce card

Thanks for the reply. Does it run OK ? What settings, resolution etc are you running ?

can't remember to tell the truth, just auto-settings
it's never crashed or slowed down

Mine ran like a charm, and it is a 2 year old system.

The game is exceptional, addictive and worthy of a new graphics card.

My PC is an awful pile of cak, wish they'd release it on Xbox 360!
