Ah, another eloquent post. Thank you for your concern, but I'd rather stay here.

Is this what has become of PH? Not acceptable behaviour IMHO.

Not funny, just true. A fuel, and an accelerant, used to heat a small camping gaz cylinder until such a time as the pressure overcomes the crimp seal on the bottom of the can. The free gas then ignites with a bit of a pop.

It is funny however, when it propels the lid of a discarded weber - esque barbecue skywards by 20 or 30 feet.
Just a question but with parked cars in the camp sites, where did these hilarious lids land?

Almost as futile and stupid as the peeps shooting flares into the campsite we were in.

I understand the atmosphere might get to some people but i really thought that Le Mans attracted a better class.

Before you start to post about your very amusing antics at Le Mans (this thread and the Rabbit, Rabbit thread in particular) you might wish to gauge opinion by reading some of the other recent posts.

The general concensus being that this years event was spoilt by the actions of a few inconsiderate individuals who feel it is important to force their brand of 'fun' upon others. Exploding Barbeques, Stag Do's etc.

Please enjoy yourself, but don't piss off others or endanger them in the process.

Please feel free to tell me to Fcensoredck off, as clearly this is what I deserve if I don't find your behavior funny.

The pikeys didn't half bugger off quick.
So the Pikeys buggered off..... were they even not amused. What level were your antics at then?

Isn't this the sort of thing that people have been moaning about on this forum. There is having a laugh and then there is just plain anti social and dangerous behaviour.

As for telling people to leave this site in that manner, it really isn't on.

I did about 4 on HA Sud on Sunday afternoon - 5 to 6 PM, and I did have a large crowd of spectators.

If any of you got pics of them, if you could post them, that'd be great.
Nice, did you jump on any cars or lob beer bottles at motorcyclists as well?

unless of course the lids are lower quality made from cheap sheet steel and not the heavy duty genuine weber ones, in which case the force of the explosion ruptures the steel outwards and not upwards the resultant pieces of shrapnel can indeed be fatal, but still as you say its a good laugh, you've done it dozens of times, you know exactly what you are doing and are a fully trained barbeque explosive technician.

Prize tos*ser. Classic idiot behaviour that spoils the event for so many others.

We was amongst the unlucky few who stayed in the top field of Beasejour on Sunday night and i've never seen anything like it. Morons tearing everything apart, smashing up fridges, cupboards or what ever they were and various other things - jumping up and down on them, smashing and beating them with bars like a pack of deranged chimps. I think they were an Essex bunch, all i remember is one of them had a Clio Sport in blue. Then they turned the middle of the field into a mud bath driving everything from M3 cabrios through it to 4x4's completely showering everyones tents, cars and camping equipment in clods of mud. To top it off they then started burning tractor tyres and throwing butane cans etc into fires. You lot (whoever you were) don't deserve to come to such an amazing spectacle as the LM24 but you sure do deserve to live in a field as it seems you were all dragged up in one.

For the last 2 years I've packed up Sunday Morning, watched the finish and then headed off to a hotel avoiding the pikey/chav antics on the Sunday night.

A laugh is a laugh, but some people just want to chill after not much sleep and get an early night.
there is enough of a fight with the French lifting stuff, withought the British behaving like they have escaped from Chester Zoo!
