I am NOT a fam of PMW and would not take my car there. Loads in Kent BM Wise in Bexley Heath, Bexley Motor Works, ETA Motorsport in Kent, Darjac near Colchester, Lilly & Constable in Kent, GJ Frappe in Cliftonville Kent.

Where do you live?

Down near Sevenoaks - maybe I should have said Sussex as well. I spend a time with work in Hertfordshire so pass through Essex a fair bit.

Lilly & Constable look nearish: anyone used these guys?

In hertfordshire contact Autobahn Services in Rickmansworth. Gary who does the work is an odd guy, but really knows his cars and does not charge a fortune.

In Sussex / Surrey I would look closely at MJF Engineering near Dorking or PBM Sports in Ditchling, TLC in Cranleigh are also very good.

+1 for BMWise. I've used them for years and they are excellent, really helpful and understanding. They can actully explain what is wrong and why to a mechanical dunce like me and have the patients to do so.

Highams Park motors, beyond reproach, and always have been for over 20 years, just off the north circ by the M11.

I'll second Higham's Park Motors - a few hundred yards from the station. They have serviced my 540 for the last few years.

Yeah, I used them for the Oil service on my 530i last week. Seemed like a nice bunch, the workshops looked in good shape and they were happy for me to wander around and chat to the teck working on my car. I thought the bill was reasonable as well.

I've not heard a bad word against when I was researching a BMW indy and as it stands I certainly intend to use these guys again.

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks.

I'm contemplating using them for my car (05 E90) come service time. I rate good service quite highly so hate to be disappointed by rubbish service, stories of woe, recommendations to change things that are not necessary yet, etc.

If there are no bad reviews then I'll certainly contemplate them over my local dealer!

Thirded for these guys. My little chariot is in there at the minute.
