Well I'd just like to say thanks to those who have helped me sort out this trip. Whether it be Carlo at Top Gear wavey for finding the two new Michelin Pilot Sports and giving my beauty the once over, or Mike from Extreme Detail for making it look just cloud9 as it should be for heading "home" as well as those on here who have helped with info, I've found everyone really helpful.....clapthumbup .....it makes PH what it is. Hopefully Mike might post a pic or two of the Spyder.

I'm going to be going via Reims, the Black Forest, Lake Constanz, the Trimseljoch, Stelvio, Garda, Maggiore, Aosta, Annecy and back via the Ring. Can't wait! This is a bit of pilgrimage it seems for me. I've wanted to do this in an "italian" for years and now I'm going to get the chance! Will be checking in and hopefully reporting in!

Me too, hope theres lots of tunnels in the route smile Don't suppose you have a point by point google maps route of it you can share?

Have you thought about getting the car serviced while out there? Can that even be done at the factory?

Cheers

Great looking car, enjoy the trip, Annecy is a fantastic place, was there a couple of weeks ago, go regularly, one of the nicest I've ever been to.

currently now in Solden quaffing a nice cold beer psyching myself up for the Timmelsjoch and Stelvio tomorrow! Car has been great, roof down most of the 850 odd miles so far. French police very nice and let me off a wee indiscretion (!) but in space of two hours in Austria saw four speedtrapsredface

Can't get over the attention the car has had particularly in France. All positive in spite of the loud exhaust! The road (can't remember number but will check) from epernay via vittel, spinel, colmar to Freiburg and on to konstanz was a revelation.
