Does anyone know of any good places to look for these?

Looking for a industrial / office unit of roughly 1000 sq ft (ish)

Have looked at Rightmove, Primelocation and various local commercial agents but no one seems to have anything for sale (lots to rent though)

Its for a mail order company so doesn't need to be on a industrial estate. (or near anything or anyone!!!!)

Location West Essex!

Is there a specific reason you wish to purchase, rather then rent?

We are in a larger place at the moment but dont need the space or be in that location.
We also have some interest from people who want to rent it.

We really want to buy so the rent can pay off the new place. Just looking for something cheap - Barn / lockup / anything really.

Try the local council website....

Our council (kirklees) lists commercial property for sale & to let

Aparently commercial property has dived in value by over 50% in some areas. Someone with a large wedge and a good head could make some good money in the medium term.

PM me if you want, or google Flexas. It's a very good site in my opinion. You need to talk to firms like Glennys, SBH and Kemsleys. They have the sort of units you're after.

The best thing you can do is drive round the area you want to acquire in, it's what I often do for clients.
