Not much interesting in Junes for me. I like the pictures though
Always happy to get your submissions printed...

Hey, Splint sounds painful.

Noted OS. I'm not really sure what I would find interesting though. All I do is flick through it at the mo and dont pick it up again. Probably just me.. mid Tiv crisis.
Edited to say Unrepentant - that Sag looks rather special. Love that paintwork

I too thought June's issue was a bit lightweight, however it's still light years ahead of where it used to be, plus I reckon I'm allowed to be a bit critical when I want to because I occasionally get off my arse and write something for the magazine
Those who don't bother should really keep a bit quieter IMO. We've become a nation of moaners and not do-ers, it's really pathetic

EFA.
It would be a poor place if the only people allowed to contribute knew nothing about TVRs though don't you think ?Mr M said:

I thought it was quite good - I got 2 pics of me with my car in it for starters
I also liked the article by Paulh about getting his Tuscans
It was nice to hear someone elses story of how they came to buy a TVR
Cheers

Slightly off topic but I've only been a TVRCC member a short while and received only my second Sprint mag this month.
My wife picked it up and exclaimed "cool! This month it's all about TVRs.....oh"
My missus thought I'd taken out a subscription to Warehousing Monthly when the April edition arrived. My wife picked it up and exclaimed "cool! This month it's all about TVRs.....oh"

In the end there is only so much material for any club magazine or website - witness the repeated questions (and responses) on here and the TVRCC site.
After 4 years of TVR ownership I still enjoy Sprint even if a bulk of items are product related. we can't really talk about upcoming models can we?
One thing that seems pointless is the 2 or 3 month out of date regional reports - far better having the space filled with articles surely.

I totally agree. Thats the thing the members love though apparently.
I suggested having them on the website instead so they could be up to date and also it would allow free reign to the RO's to be as verbose as they wanted to be. But apparently it is essential that they are in the mag so people can read about what happened 2 months prior. As a newbie to TVR ownership I found the Body Raise article good - and I hope there's a few more like that in future issues, and I enjoyed the "year in the life of a Tuscan".
I'm not a track day person, and whilst I enjoy motorsport from the armchair I don't get much from the racing articles.

I'm trying to be objective here (as I wrote one of the articles for the magazine this month) Ive had a lot of feedback on mine and the other articles in Sprint this month, and I mean a lot, having met drivers at a regional meet and a run out on Sunday, may be people only comment postively to your face and I am being nieve.
From my perspective; I think the magazine is always a good read, well it has certtianly improved markedly in recent times, for the funding avaialble from memebrship and sponsorship it is quite remarkable how it is produced (Being very aware of magazine production run costs) It has been voted best club magazine on numberous occasions and to me there is always plenty for everyone (or atleast if they are interested in TVR's)
The editorial team are approachable and open to any suggestions for improvement.
Be thanful we have such a good club magazine............
