Would people please be able to shed some light for me on what the exact differences are between a standard (so 2.0 8v & 2.0 16v) Corrado and the 2.9 VR6 model?

I believe, but am not sure, that they have slightly larger front arches and a more pronounced bonnet bulge? Was this all post-1993 cars or just the VRs? Any info appreciated... Thanks.

I don't know - but as you've not had an answer I'm certain the chaps on the Corrado forum will fill you in on all/any spec differences.

I believe body wise the only difference is the larger bonnet bulge on late model VR's, no differnce in arches at all.

Not sure at what point/model year the bonnet changed but believe the grille on all models changed at the same time to one with less slats.

Hope that helps?

Late-style bonnet _-_ not -_- for all post facelift cars.
Also different headlights, slam panels, fog lights, bumpers (I think) and interiors.
The Corrado Forum as previously suggested is your best bet though check the buying guide in the Knowlege Base.

Cheers,

Thomas

Thanks for the information. I found the answer here:

Has a detailed list of all the changes made to the Corrado during its life. Apparently the VR6 has ever so slightly wider front arches, but that's it.

Vr6 has wider tyres 205/50/15 and different wheels IIRC, compared to 195/50/15 on the other models.

My 1995 VR6 had steering height adjustment which my 1995 8v didn't have.

There's also the small matter of a couple of extra cylinders up front.
