TVRCC - July Meet Sunday 13th
Discussion
It's a bit early for the meet reminder, but the July meet has a special attraction that requires a bit of planning!
Firstly, the essentials - we are back at the Lamd Inn at Edgmond - http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/11/11537/La... meeting at 11:30.
As mentioned previously, I have arranged for the local IAM group (who I am attached to) to send a couple of observers over for the afternoon who will take you out for a free DriveCheck assessment. This will involve a 15 minute or so drive to give a concise assesment of your driving skills. Please do not be put off by the thought of someone being sat next to you criticising, this isn't how it works and it isn't a test, they are nice chaps (hey, I'm one of them!) who will offer good advice and recommendations to improve your driving.
As such, we need to ascertain how many people are interested in taking this up so I can guage how many observers we need to get in; it will probably work better if I can produce a schedule too, so you know what time you will be needed in your car. See www.iam.org.uk for more information. THIS IS OPEN TO TVR OWNERS ONLY.
If you want to take a slot, reply to this post and I'll add you in. A good turnout would be appreciated, I've hyped you lot up at numerous group meetings so I have a reputation to maintain ;-)
Lastly, don't forget that the meet is still on as normal for those who don't want to take up the DriveCheck, and there will be the usual meet at my house beforehand (mail for my address if you don't have it, we leave at 11).
Take care and see you soon,
Sean
