New to the fold....

Picking up a lovely 1998 S1 on Saturday.My first Lotus. Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice on this site which helped me choose. Hopefully I will not need to post too many "How do I......" listings.

How do I...... get out without disgracing myself? Might well be your second.

Enjoy it. I still look forward to every drive in mine, 8 months on and still get a tingle every time I clap eyes on it waiting for me.

I might be alone on that last one.

Nope, I picked up my 1998 S1 almost three months ago now and I still feel special every time I catch a glimpse of it

I've had my S2 for 3 weeks now and I still get all excited at home-time. In fact I'm really looking forward to getting to the car park, taking the roof off and having a blast back over the hills in it

I just think the Elise is a beautifull car and looks perfect from every angle...unlike my wife who (thank god) will not be reading this!!
