The first series of Heroes was riveting. I sat bolt-upright, glued to my chair, throughout every episode. This series couldn't be different. It started slowly and it has stayed slow. Even the sight of Claire Bennett and the new blonde hottie hasn't been enough to keep me engaged. Last night, for the first time, I didn't watch it.

I got bored of the first series at about episode 10 and stopped watching it. I'm sure I could predict what happened.

I dipped out about 3 weeks ago as I thought it was all getting a bit CBBC. Maybe I should have a look at this weeks episode...

Excellent twist, series 2 spent too long trying to explain everything again and lost a few viewers. Thankfully the writers stike interveined and they cut the series short and started on 3. Hopefully the US will start to realise the benefit of shorter series - keeps it fresher for longer

Heroes is great. Lost on the other hand... oh my god. give us good answers, for once. (apart from the last in the series, that was ok)

I'd still like to find out what powers the "original" Heroes all had, and how they came about. And what role inheritance plays.

I also suspect that ole Hiro will be resurrecting a few of them in S3 biggrin

Still watching, last night's on BBC2 was very good. I can't understand why our American cousins were moaning that it was too slow, it's been a good series so far. The only thing I think is taking too long is the story between Sylar and those two mexicans.

My GF had friends over last night and I missed it, bugger. I looked on the BBC site and Heroes isn't one of the shows that is repeated, does anyone know where I can watch it?

Absolutely!

Heroes has been consistently strong in all areas, although the first few episodes of S2 were a little slow. I get the feeling that they really do have an overall arc to follow with Heroes.

Lost - first two seasons were absolutely stunning. Season 3 was utter tripe (although yes, I did still watch it). Season 4 took it hardly anywhere.

From what I've heard/read, I'm not that sure that the writers on Lost really know where they're taking it.

ps. I've finished season 2 of heroes - what was last nights episode?

Frankly I'm bored of S2 at the moment. The wife still thinks it's marvellous though so I will end up seeing it.
