I am considering buying a used Gransturismo and have been keeping an eye on the classifieds over recent weeks.

I would be interested if anyone in or close to the car Trade can tell me their opinions on the pricing. Are the falls due to normal depreciation, poor new car sales, the arrival of the new 'S' model or the general state of the car market based on the economy. I suspect it may be a bit of everything.

There seem to be quite a few of very low mileage examples on sale. It seems that prices have fallen back a fair bit in recent weeks, low mileage example are being advertised under £75k now and enquiries I have made suggest £72k will get me a car without a P/ex for a car with a list of £84k. I am wondering how long i will have to wait to get a decent car around the £60-£65k mark. I am sure the cars being advertised in the Trade at £75 are being bought by stealers for well under £70k.

Any advice and info much appreciated.

Agreed, i would guess they are paying very low 60s. If that's the case, buy one privately for mid 60s and everyone's happy.

Just sold mine this week. Don't think prices are as bad as you are hoping with plenty main dealers paying £70+. Chances are dealers looking for easy cash flow if offering you car at £72k. Always good deals from MD at half/year end.

6mths and 7000mls, new convertible on order for next year. Fantastic car but my wife prefers the 911 so keeping that. Also too many toys at moment so one had to go before I get something else.

Is the GT, still has the four seats but obviously the boot is even more comprimised. Not seen pics yet but I'd imagine very similar to the ferrari cali.

It's a photoshop but should be close to the real car which has a cloth hood and four seats. It will look stunning IMHO.
