Lambo G SuperL spotted
Discussion
Wouldnt normally post a spotted, but its the first I have seen.
It looked amazing, grey with the bigger rear spoiler.
Driving down queens road in kingston as I was walking back from work.
If it was you, I appologize for staring, and I wasnt looking up your girlfriend, although she too looked tasty... haha

I would have thought the UK and Middle East press officer (really, she is...) for Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. would know. But I'd not bet on it...
You could try asking either of the main dealer groups if knowing the amount is needed - adding the two numbers given wold work - I reckon there are still a few Superleggera's for sale one way or another at the moment...

Hi there,
Bored on a Saturday morning so thought I would have a little look.
Via the four Lamborghini dealers in the UK there are the following for sale
London
1 x Black
1 x Orange
Manchester
2 x Grey
1 x Black
Edinburgh
1 x Orange
Birmingham
1 x Grey
On Autotrader there are the following (non of these are from Lamborghini dealers)
2 x Orange
2 x Black
1 x Grey
If we assume all of the cars listed are not for sale in more than one place that makes 12 currently for sale.
I have photographed the following UK cars since they were launched: -
1 x Grey - Lamborghini stand at Pistonheads Show
1 x Grey '07' plate at Oulton Park - March 2008
1 x White- British GT Media Day - March 2008
1 x Yellow - Goldtrack Track Day - February 2008
1 x Yellow '07' plate - Lamborghini Owners Club event - September 2007
1 x Grey '07' plate - Lamborghini Owners Club event - September 2007
1 x Grey '57' plate - Supercar Sunday - June 2008
Plus the following Right Hand Drive Italian plated cars: -
1 x Grey Plate "DM-119VR" - Silverstone - April 2008
1 x Grey Plate "DG-237JW" - Warrington - January 2008
I appreciate that some of the ones I have seen may currently be for sale, although I know that both the Yellow cars and the single White one I have photographed are not currently for sale.
Also I suspect that the Italian plated cars may now be on UK plates as I can see them sending RHD cars back to Italy.
So that could be a total of 21 cars if each one listed is a different car.
Must go and find some DIY to do, I think I am turning into an anorak.
Regards
Tim

i just googled "lamborghini press officer" and top of the list is...
...you !!!
right then -
1 I don't have anything to do with the importers press fleet at all, in any way
2 I don't cover the Middle East - once got a b*ll*cking about absolutely never going anywhere near there when I had a proper job...
3 I'm not a girl, really I'm not and
4 Nae' baddy's paying me for anything I write about...
BUT, somewhere around here IS the information about how many Superleggeras were actually built
and I will find it, just to prove that point 4 should be the opposite and point 1 could be the opposite, (then I woke up... and thought "as if")

nah, they've confused production figures with us sales
the reason that the vast majority of cars are yellow, orange, black or grey is that the sl was for the most part only available in yellow, orange, black or, err, grey
even the sales brochure, such as it was, made it clear that no customisations would be possible
white was introduced only around december 2007
