I've got a replacement light for my bashed in one (thanks CliveF) but my Bible has gone missing after Le Mans so I'm not sure how the light fitting comes out.

I'm off to the garage now to have a play but in case I can't work it out can anybody tell me how the rear lense comes off.

As Rigga says, pull the carpet cover off the back of the light, undo the 4 self tappers that screw through the GRP and into the fitting.
The lamp unit should also be sealed from the outside , it should just push out.

Re-seal it after to avoid nasty niffs.

Thanks chaps. Sorry to ask such a basic question but not having the bible to hand I thought I'd get an answer just in case.

Feel a bit of an idiot now that I've seen it.

I only assumed because as an ex vauxhall tech i know how they were fitted in their original fitment cavalier form, only just got the Griff and in no way do i presume to be an expert in any way shape or form....... do know they need trimming on the edges to fit into the tvr appature though if not already done.

You're dead right rigga, they do need trimming a tad.

There is a little lip which would be on the bottom inside corner and this needs grinding off.
Here's my old and new lights for comparison
