Aluminium flywheel

Just wondering if anyone runs a G50 box with an aluminium flywheel.
I may be able to source them from the USA for decent money . Anyone interested let me know and I will get a price.

I wonder is that really a good way to go for a street car? Just my engine, I am not saying it might not work for someone else but there are times when I might want just a bit more weight in the flywheel to help with low rev ease away from the stop light with the policeman watching if you know what I mean. The lighter the flywheel the more RPM its going to take to get rolling. Just a thought I am not disagreeing with the advantages of a lighter flywheel there are several. But they come at a cost. Lee
