Going on a trackday this week and was doing some research over the weekend with regard to tyre pressures on Yokohoma AD07's. My Elise S2 fitted with the K-Series has been running on these tyres for over a year now and I have been putting 26psi all round in them. The SELOC website reccomends 22 front and 24 rear for a trackday and 23 front and 25 rear for road use. Yesterday I put in 23 front and 25 rear and the car feels all spongy - it's probably just me having got used to 26 all round. Can any one else with the same car/tyre configuration tell me what they run theirs at?

If you start off with 22 / 23 psi cold, by the time you have done a few laps, the tyre pressures will be closer to 28 psi, if not higher. If you are comfortable on 26 psi, use that, but perhaps start lower, do a few laps, come in and immediately check the pressures, letting air out to get to the desired "warm" pressures.

I have gone out on 24 psi cold and returned with 32 psi after a few laps.
