10 miles each way, split into 6 miles on rural Berkshire roads (lovely at 7am in the summer) and 4 miles through central London (again great at this time of year when all the young lovelies start jogging through Hyde Park biggrin)

Wouldn't do it any other way. Whenever I have to take the tube I'm reminded just how filthy, overcrowded and slow it is. Give me pissing rain and ahole drivers any day.

I'll have to keep a look out for you!

Ride from west london to bank - ride along the grand union canal, through nottinghill, hyde park, buckingham palace, the mall, the strand then upto work. 12 miles there, 13 back - just starting to get to the point now where it only takes me 30 mins to stop glowing once i have got to the desk.....

About 16km each way, finishing with a pootle over the Harbour Bridge. Usually great in the morning, but in the summer as the wind turns during the day, the ride home to the coast can be a bit like riding into a giant fart - hot, windy and smelly.

17 miles each way. 5 days this week and feeling it. Kent into the west end. Usually 3 days a week in the summer, but the price of petrol has p••••d me off, so I leave the Honda SP1 at home. Will be on the motorbike most of the darker winter evenings.

PS Usaully do another 10 40 at the weekend.

I do 26 miles a day, about 3 times a week... Is quite a good cycle especially in the morning cause i leave home at 5.30 am so the roads are quite. So just a straight road up to the city pretty much, big bus lanes make it easier.. Evening can be tricky with all the traffic but not too bad.

Takes me about 45 min in the morning and an hour in the evening but i am getting faster !! smile

Good effort, I'm on a paltry 8.5 miles each way, which is fine to do everyday - but I wimped out today because of torrential rain!

My knee has been healing for the last three weeks so I've been doing my commute sporadically. Should all be well for Morzine next week though biggrin
