Did a simlier trip a couple of times this year. Really recommend a couple of places en route that are amazing Lotus roads.

This route is very good - try doing it on a weekday if you can - mind out for cyclist etc ! smile

(D10 from Munster, taking the winding roads to Uffholtz, a very good road !)

Also try some of Ardennes around Bouillon if you wont to break the journey up. Really nice flowing roads only about a couple hours from the ferry etc.

Cheaper fuel can be found in Luxembourg & Switzerland, plus you can get 100 Ron now at Shell in Switzerland.

I tried to do the alps last weekend in three days and it was a mistake, all motorway and limited fun. Trip before we made our way to Zurich on any Lotus road we could find - Excellent!

Let me know if you need any other advise.

Thanks for that! Think we're heading down to grenoble on the first day! (Long drive ahead of us!) Then head east and then back up the alps! Only away for 4-5 days so not sure how much space we can cover!!

Very quick road to Grenoble. Route Neopolian is available for Grenoble as I am sure you are aware !

Also some of the passes over to Torino may be worth a go - maybe...

Cannot go wrong in that part of the world. Enjoy !

Sure the Exige S will be more enjoyable on the motorway than Elise R aswell !
