is this a scam? seems abit cheap, i emails asking if it was still forsale but didn't get a reply (before it was bumped back to the top)

I'm not a CTU operative but couple of observations:
1) The car does not appear on Autotrader/Top Marques and anyone that was THAT keen to sell would surely go to the expense.
2) The photos have been taken with nothing better than a camera phone, why?
3) Looking at the floor in the photos, I'm not even sure the photos were taken in the same place, which begs the question whether they are actually of the same car. The floor in the second photo matches with a well known TVR independent (who absolutely would NOT be part of any scam) but who is not based in Nottingham.
I'm local to Nottingham. Haven't got much time this week but could at least do a drive by if you get an address out of him?

I emailed the guy originally for some more piccies as i was genuinely interested in going to have a look, and the guy didn`t even respond to the email.

Photos are of the original press car with the different back end. That car was modified too IIRC and the back was changed
There was no name on the ad until recently either
What I fail to understand is the point of this? is it just to get a mailing list of people with that sort of disposable cash?

Easy to find out if it's a scam, send an email to him saying this:-
"Hi I'm very interested in your car and I can pay immediatly via Western Union, I live overseas so a transporter will collect it from you once you have collected the money. If this is OK with you please send me your details so I can make arrangements to wire the £35K."
If you get a response saying that's fine you know it's a scam.

I mailed this chap the first time he advertised it and he said it was sold, it smells to good to be true and I am sure it is. It does not matter if you need to leave the country quickly you will always take time and take real pictures of your car, give your phone number etc if you want to sell it.
It amazes me how many scam adverts appear on Pistonheads. This one is not an obvious scam to me as the price could be a realistic bargain for someone who wanted a very quick sale. There was an orange sag that appeared very briefly a few weeks ago that was a 2006 car at £27k. Now that was OBVIOUSLY a scam! Again, it was a private sale using pics taken at a dealership.
