I have always fancied a day on the Anglesey track and am currently looking into booking one.

Has anyone any reccommendations on places to stay near the track and other places to visit nearby if I make a weekend of it?

It seems a long way to travel for me for just one day.

I did I track day at Anglesey last year and stayed here http://www.bullsheadinn.co.uk/ENGLISH/welcome.htm We had a really good meal in the restaurant and the rooms were pretty nice as well. Wasn't cheap but was worth it!

Quite a few of us going on the 23rd August. Think we are Fishing on the Friday and staying at the Harbour. Did the same event last year and had good fun.

Sounds fantastic. We are planning to go to the next one in September (26th) and hoping to make a long weekend of it too.

Hi there, I'd suggest staying up in the Bangor/Menai Bridge/Beaumaris area (about half an hours drive from the track), much larger choice of hotels & B&B's also a little more lively!

Many places to visit on Anglesey itself, just depends what your in to, but venture off the island and again plenty of attractions/villages/mountains and so on to go!

I often arrange accomodation for a group of us doing Anglesey.

I'd recommend going through David at Coastal Properties. We stayed at an old courtyard think it was called Tros Ayfon, bit of a drive to the circuit, but lovely area.

Also, I believe Menai Properties have some nice places too.

Both should cater from 2 person to 20 person stuff.

I can probably find the contact details if you struggle.

Cheers
