Just seen the performance figures for the next ZR1. 6.2 litre with Eaton TVS S/C and intercooler 638 BHP and 604 lb/ft. They're quoting 0-60 in 3.4 and the 1/4 in 11.3 with 131 mph If anyone wants to have a look www.chevrolet.com/corvette/zr1/. Does this mean as and when Monaro mk5 arrives we might have this as an option!

Talking of Camaro, the new convertible looks rather tasty, at least with the hood down. www.chevrolet.com/camaro/

The LS9 does look like it is going to one off the greatest variants of the LS series engines, with it being a tuned version of the lastest LS3 engine I would have thought that it will probably turn up in the same spec in a car soon, Tiler might be along to talk about his plans soon, for his lastest missile with GM doing all development work on cams and heads flow rate's etc, a lot of the guess/development work is taken away and the tuners should be able a exact package very quickly...... so in a VXR8 soon and then a Monaro not long after.

Even the cheaper LSA version of this engine in the Cadillac CTS-V is pretty decent.
550 hp and 550 lb-ft.

Also, go straight to the 3.23 minute spot of this vid.

I expect the LSA version will feature in the Camaro but the ZR1 engine will stay in the "halo" car for some time before appearing anywhere else.

Almost-production quality Camaro at www.camaro5.com - looking very nice!
