I like him. American Bad Ass came from the second album though which is piss poor compared to the first one which I thought superb. I quite like the song the OP linked to and it sounds like he's mellowed. I'm not sure if I'm that fussed about buying the album it's from. I listened to him in an interview last week and found him very engaging... surprisingly I suppose. Any, different strokes and all that.

I'm a huge LS fan but I really like what Kid Rock has done here.

Somebody bloody well should have - I absolutely hate that version. I have no understanding of why the singer pronounces 'Deuce' as 'Doosh' while singing the chorus. Springsteen version a billion times better imo. Actually, I prefer his version of 'Because the Night' as well but Patti's is at least good...

Well I like his stuff. He doesn't pretend to be some sort of amazing churchgoing family friendly character. He does what he wants and plays up to his "act" perfectly.

I bought the album after hearing All Summer Long. It's a great track... not really listened to the rest of it yet though.

Just realised this was a Kid Rock song

And with that i've changed my mind about all his music being crap as that is bloody catchy!!
