Hi folks,
I've been keeping an eye on 6 series prices over the past year and they have been steadily going down. I've read other posts which have commented on the various good and bad points of these cars and whilst they they are probably bigger and heavier than I would like they do appear to offer excellent value for money. 20K now buys a 645i coupe without starship mileage and a FSH.
What is the PH consensus on further depreciation in the next year or two? With the price of fuel, road tax and servicing on the up I would guess that the first 15K V8's will be available in around 18 months.

Prices will fall, but with few being sold at the moment the supply of pre owned models may be getting thin. If you have cash buying within the next 9-12 months could be a good move, but wait too long and all the good cars will be taken. I have my eye on an M6, and when prices fall below £40K for a decent one its going into my garage as a 'keeper'.
I bought a 645ci on an 05 plate with 20k on the clock last month which I got for a song from a BMW dealer ship. I have not been able to pick it up yet as I work away from home but it's looks like it will be this Saturday.
It's got Alpina alloys on and a few other Alpina odds and sods on it.
They took my Subaru in px and I got a great deal. Seems garges are bending over backwards to sell these cars.

It's interesting too how I seem to be getting abuse from drivers for no reason at all.
I have had people driving up my arse for no reason, others wanting to overtake me, by lashing right up the arse of my car then overtaking at the last minute.
I didn't get this abuse in my M3! There are some p***ks out there.
