I have a few years ago. I did the academy day 2. If you're relatively new to track days and want to learn all the basics then it is definitely worthwhile. They teach you heel and toe, controlling the car in a spin, cornering skills and braking techniques. Then there's a course set out at the end to practise what you've learnt. Worthwhile if you haven't had any driver training before, if you can do the above confidently then not so worthwhile. Although in my opinion you can never have too much instruction no matter what level you are smile

I did an Academy 1 at Upper Heyford with MSE; they are very good. They'll teach you some good ground-up stuff. It's well worthwhile if you've not had any proper instruction.
All their instructors are very good in their fields. Even some of the things that I thought I didn't need to learn, were improved.whistle
Later, I did a Track Day with them at Abingdon. Their standards are very high and you shouldn't encounter the kind on nutcases you sometimes find on track.
Highly recommended.clap
