European break down cover?

Can anyone recommend a good European break down cover as I'm off to south of France and Italian lake next week?

Please don't suggest RAC as the royally screwed me over last year by taking the car to a garage that decided it would be fun to pull my engine apart and ruin my warranty costing me a cool 3.5k.

cost me ~£30 for two weeks.

when i broke down the telephone service was good, with you dealing with one friendly person who gave constant updates. they sent out the local garage, who looked at it and confirmed it was broken, said they couldn't get the parts. (french and italians usually dont know what a TVR is)
break down company then sent it to a UK location of my choice with out any fuss.

offered me a hire car, accomodation, alternative travel etc, which i didn't need (just wanted the car taking back to UK)

Do a search for ADAC on here, seems to get good reviews and all of europe is covered I think.
