Discussion
As you may know, moving up to Leeds in August. Looking to play some 5 a side on a week night and find an rugby club to join and play for.
Thought i would see if anyone plays or has any suggestions !!!!
(also not sure if i should join David Lloyd or Chapel A tennis club - anyone on here members at either)?

Im a member of david lloyd but i may not have been there for about 2 to 3 years
.
They have probably given it another refit by now.
There are a few rugby clubs but it would depend on your ability and where you live/ideally go to training once or twice a week as well as playing weekends if they are in a league.

I'm at David Lloyds could do with a bit of a tidy up. But not a great deal of alternatives.
Rugby clubs there are several in North Leeds most in the Yorkshire divisions. Tried to list them in division order Burley playing in the lowest division. Maybe a few in the wrong order but you should get an idea.
Burley
Wetherby
West Leeds
Bramely
Roundhegians
Moortown
Leos
Yarmbury
West Park Leeds
Morley
Then a couple of clubs in Otley and Harrogate not too far.
Going south a bit there's Sandal.

I'm a member at David Lloyd and have played at Chapel A. For me, DL offers the greatest opportunity for year-round racquet sports, in addition to the gym/pool facilities. Chapel A has a greater focus on competitive league play, but getting courts can be a nightmare. I've met quite a few people through racquet sports at DL, if you decide to join and want to meet a few people to play tennis/squash with, feel free to drop me a line and I'll try to help.

Was a good laugh, but some of the teams took themselves all to seriously!
Cant remember the prices, but we were always happy to pay as the facilities were great

Thanks for that, not sure what my standard is. Just like my tennis i used to be pretty handy as a schoolboy, played for Yorkshire U16 and U18 and spent a year in the Leciester Tigers academy. This is all going back 12 years though.Rugby clubs there are several in North Leeds most in the Yorkshire divisions. Tried to list them in division order Burley playing in the lowest division.
