What will I get next to scare grannies and small children .....

Choices are VXR with a lot of extras, Jag 4.2 XKR, Jag 4.2 XJR (slightly quicker than the XK due to weight issues.

Any suggestions most welcome.

Id not have a jag, my dad had a xkr from new and it cost him a fortune in repairs, in 100k miles he put a new engine/gearbox/ and supercharger in it along with a few electrical problems that cot a fortune to fix.

I dont understand anyone wanting to sell there Monaro. I'm sure you have your reasons but for a Jag. Everyones dads got a Jag. No offence intended but come on. DONT DO IT

Well being a 4 door type, I sold my 2000 R8 to prepare for an XJR purchase. But as Im 6'5"+ the jag just wouldnt cut it. Plus it was too slow.
So unless you are the height of a girl then I think you will find the jag sucks for space, including headroom.

Now that hurt ...... I'm only 46 and have the most wonderful young wife at 45 and we're both still 25 in each others eyes (although she does need glasses lol).
Thanks for all the comments and anti Jag sentiments, though I may still sell and sit on the fence for a bit and see how cheap these VXR's become

No not mad Bonnie, I don't feel old - at least not when I'm in the Ro or cavorting on a sunny beach on holiday trying to keep the middle age spread in check

But Jeff...if you're not in a 'ro, how is someone from the other end of the country going to recognise you when coincidentally pulling up at the lights in Inverness?!

I must admit I do like Jags, expecially the XJR. Alas it wouldn't fit in my garage and mrs rocket isn't a big fan.

I hope you change you change you mind and keep the 'ro, or swap it for a VXR, but good luck with it whatever you decide!
