Most of you will probably already know this but i learned the hard way and this tale may help those as daft as me.

Gave one of my staff my keys on Monday to get my briefcase from the boot. What i didnt know was that he used the key to turn the lock in the door insteasd of pressing the button to turn the alarm off. When i went to go home the door wouldnt open unless i opened the passenger door and leaned across to open it. Obviously one can do without thaqt hassle afetr a day in the office.

Anyway i got home and phoned CN to get some advice and as usual they were very accomodating.

I didnt realise that you can put the deadlocks on the doors by turning it so that the key slot is vertical. I had tried all sorts to get the door to open including moving the door mechanism to different positions to an extent that in the end the door was open but wouldnt bloody close.

Five minutes on the phone to CN and a few Yoga type moves pulling door handles and moving mechanisms etc the door was right as rain.

The moral of my story is....dont give your car keys to someone who doesnt know how to open a boot.
