T5 gearbox cosworth 2wd?

Are the cosworth 2wd t5 box's the same as the tvr ones, I fancy buying a duff one as there's plenty about and rebuilding it at my leasure, i'm figuring about £450 should buy all the components needed for a total rebuild but i could be wrong?

No they are not the same as the remote is in the wrong position.

As Steve says - don't waste your money..

You can have you existing box rebuilt for that price by a professional (CTS are good) or but a TVR T5 from a breakers for about £500.

Cheers guys, the only reasoning behind the idea was that i am a little worried that £450 on a second hand box is a little of a gamble and to go through the greif of fitting it just to find theres a noise or selection problem would really p*ss me off,Quinny i might be interested pm me the details although i've just spent a grand on new wheels i haven't had delivered yet so it could be pushing the end of next month, incidently the only reason i'm changing my box is because it bulks up sometimes on 5th gear.
