OK, I'm mad for even thinking this, but...
Early Cerb prices seem to getting to the £10k mark, for cars with an apparently healthy history on not too many miles (40-50k).
What are likely running costs over a year compared to Chimaera?
classic insurance, no more than about 3,000 miles p.a.(so 1 service)

(no, haven't done a search)

Doing repairs & serviving your self = £50 A year
Bad year, chassis, engine, shocks, clutch, dealer servicing = £20,000 a year
Average = £ Anywhere between the above two...a year smile

hehe

Get a storming 10k car though with a strong chassis and known owner (whos looked after it) and it could be £3k a year or less... probably less at 3kpa. smile

But yes, Russ could be very right...

Double the costs again if you buy two of them at once... hehe
