Sagris Front Suspension Height Adjustment

My 2006 Sag is running very low at the front (lower than the other one I looked at at Knockhill) - leading to scraping (and wincing). As you may have read in my other post, I'm getting the nose & front splitters resprayed, so want to raise the front suspension at the same time.

I measured the clearance on my car -
the driver side front splitter ground clearance is 98mm
the passenger side front splitter ground clearance is 102mm

My questions are:

• How do you increase the front ride height? Is it easy?
• How much ground clearance do you have?

I had to put new suspension on my Tamora (Gaz gold) the standard bilsteins were not adjustable, I assume the sags are the same. You will need to either change the suspension or have stiffer/longer springs added to your existing std set-up if it is std.

I had to do mine due it being in Norway most of the time now, and the speed bumps over here are scary!!.

You should have some ride height adjustment on the spring seat but you will need a C spanner.
Do you have a friendly local Tvr dealer? because with the right tool its a doddle of a job.

Yep,
Its dead easy to cock up the geo wth a C-spanner

I think you will find your car was originally on Harvey Bailey supsension rther than on Bilsteins.

I think I have my Sagaris on the lowest setting (atleast the TVR servicer and the flat-bed truck team seem to think so ) but I`ve never had too much problems with clearance and grounding (I think its < 90mm from the front splitter to the ground when I measured it)

Did your front splitter crack at all? Its a major problem with the Sagaris and not cheap to fix properly.

My right splitter has a hair-line crack but after a few groundings its not got worse, however u should never look under the front splitters - looks like a lion has been clawing away at it

Most of the later cars did have some adjustment on the ride height and the camber tolerance is about 0.25degree so a small increase in ride height may not ruin geometry but as they are supposed to check settings every 6k it may be advisable to link adjustments to a service.
Mind you, every Saggy I have set up was miles out anyway.
