ACT Induction Kit, what filter?
Discussion
I am looking for a couple of "Bolt on" Mods for the Chim, starting with the Induction Kit supplied by ACT, but can anybody give advise on personal experience on whats better, a K & N filter or a Pipercross filter?
Also any other recommended "Bolt On" improvements i can make, Although the Chim is my P & J, i do not plan to spend £1000's but would like to improve with the odd "Mod or Two"!!!!
I do accept that i will not achieve a massive increase in power in what ever i do, but the odd tweak here or there cannot hurt!
Thanks in advance,

I have also been improving a few simple things on my car. Shouldn't be too difficult to do the following:
- Mod wise 2 stage cooling... I made some minor improvements to this too. Painted it, added run on option switch, used a bit more heat shrink and added a couple of brakets to avoid having to drill holes in my TiV.
- ACT coolant pipes look good. Cursed and cussed a bit when doing this!! Mine were a bit old and crusty and had to go.
- Lights on warning buzzer - make one yourself: Durite Lights on buzzer is simple to fit by connecting into the appropriate wires at the back of the radio. Two tone sound is qite good for this sort of thing. Got mine here: DURITE-LIGHTS-ON-WARNING-BUZZER If not so inlclined contact Leven, I do know they were working on something similiar.
- I made my own air flow heat shield and another for the bottom pipe from the swirl pot. This was the first to let go! Not too hard with a few bits from B&Q etc.
